Make Up Procedures

     I allow all assignments missed due to an absence from class to be made up.  For most assignments I give the student 5 days after they return to school to get the missing assignment turned in.  Some of my assignments are more complex and can require extra time and after school time.  If a student is honestly working to get something made up I will work with them on the time frame.   

     I have an after school Fast ForWord program and am at school until at least 4:00pm most very day so there is no excuse for a student not being able to get with me to work on making up an assignment.  

     There is one situation where I do not allow work to be made up at all.  If a student is present for the entire class when an assignment is done and simply choses not to turn the work in, I will give the student a zero for the assignment and it cannot be made up.
